About Me (and the blog)

Hello! My name is Kelly and I’m a high-school senior that began this blog my freshman year as a project to learn some website management and out of my love for reading! Recently I’ve been on a hiatus (high school is busy, my dudes) but hope to make a return soon!

My blogging story

I made my blog after months of reading and perusing other book blogs. I made the plunge to start blogging in late August of 2014 and continued into around my Junior year. While I am no longer as active in the book-blogging community, largely due to the sheer volume of work, I am hoping to make a slow transition into a lifestyle-book-everything type blog as I hit my senior year.

The name of my blog comes from my love for dance and reading. I’m certainly not the best dancer out there but the joy I experience while dancing is like being able to express everything you feel through movement. Reading is kind of like that. When you’re reading, it’s kind of like you’re “dancing” through the pages. Hence, my blog name, Dancing Through the Pages. It’s cheesy but I love it.

Anyways, that’s about it! I hope you enjoy my blog!

  1. We actually have a lot in common! What type of rock/punk music do you like? I actually like a lot of rock and alternative when I don’t listen to K-pop. It’d be scary if we had the same taste in that too. 😛 And are you ready for exo’s comeback?

  2. I listen to lot of All Time Low, Pierce the Veil, Halestorm…uh I’m drawing a blank right now.
Absolutely not. Guilty fact: I’ve only watched Xiumin’s teaser because I have no time m(__)m

  3. School is kicking my butt and I’ve been horrible with keeping up. I don’t think I realized that Exo was having a comeback until I saw the teasers in my youtube feed.
All Time Low is what pulled me into punk rock so I have a soft spot for them.
